- Enrollment can be part-time or full-time.
- Classes are offered late afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday as well as all day on Saturdays for a half semester for the convenience of working students. Classes are also offered in the summer.
- The program is offered in Piscataway on the Livingston Campus of Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
- By combining graduate coursework with undergraduate study in management in New Brunswick, the MHRM program can be completed in one (1) year.
- GRE or GMAT scores are required for admission to the MHRM program. Applications are accepted for the fall, spring, or summer terms.
- The school maintains a specialized library within the Rutgers 3 million volume library system with access to journals, reporting services, and databases in human resource management and industrial relations.
- Financial assistance is available to a limited number of exceptionally well-qualified students. Residence life staff positions, and need-based grants, loans, and work-study jobs are also available.
- Paid internships are available and are strongly recommended for students without prior experience in HRM.
- The program offers a placement service for students with numerous major organizations.
