Does locating an American Jobs Center (AJC) on a community college campus promote student success in the labor market and in college?

This study examined the impact of colocating American Job Centers at six community colleges in North Carolina had on student outcomes. The analysis concluded that after five years, the presence of an AJC at the community college had no effect on the completion, employment, or earnings of students.

While the study did not show that AJC colocation improved student outcomes, additional research is needed to more fully assess the impact of offering the job centers on community college campuses.
