Paris Wright

Paris Wright is the Associate Director of Development at the School of Management and Labor Relations and brings more than eight years of experience in fundraising and philanthropy in the nonprofit sector and academia to her role. Prior to joining SMLR, Paris served as the inaugural Associate Director of Development at the School of Nursing in Camden, where she worked closely with the dean to develop funding priorities and partnered with faculty to identify funding opportunities that align with their research agenda. She also served as the assistant director of development in the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. In this role, she led the development operation for the Energy Commerce and Information Technology programs. She also partnered with the associate vice president for advancement to co-steward relationships with existing funders, including major individual donors and foundations.

Paris holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Louisville and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and women and gender studies from the University of Kansas.
