Offered jointly by the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR) and Rutgers Business School (RBS), the Minor in Human Resource (HR) Analytics offers Rutgers undergraduate students from a variety of backgrounds the opportunity to gain competencies in the robust and growing field of HR analytics.
The purpose of this Minor in HR Analytics, also called “people analytics," is to learn to use and analyze data to make informed people management decisions with the intent of improving the working lives of people and enhancing the productivity and financial success of organizations.
Through the Minor in HR Analytics, students have the opportunity to:
- Develop analytics knowledge, skills, and abilities with a focus on HR applications.
- Use and analyze data to inform business decisions.
- Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of HR-related decisions and initiatives.
- Contribute to the financial success and productivity of the organization.
HR Analytics competencies have the potential to set students apart in the job market and in their future careers upon graduation.
The Minor in HR Analytics consists of 18 credits.
