It's not business as usual.
The Rutgers Bachelor of Science in Management and Work prepares students to manage people in many types of work organizations. Students consider how society shapes management and work, along with how management can better society and working life. Majors learn how to develop their own ability to thrive at work, including how to respond effectively to the complex and changing aspects of work life.
Rutgers Management and Work students also develop skills to serve as agents of change in the workplace. They will be prepared to lead and develop solutions in their current work environments as well as plan for the future of work.
Building upon the combined areas of expertise within the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, the cutting-edge B.S. in Management and Work program brings together coursework in:
- Organizational work studies,
- Labor and employment relations, and
- Human resource management.
Students learn about the “people side of business” from each of these unique perspectives to achieve their educational and work goals.
