The 36-credit 100% online program is competitively priced relative to peer institutions and can be completed in as few as 18 months with flexible course scheduling. The GRE/GMAT requirement is waived for professionals with four years of experience in HR or management roles. Participants learn from respected HR experts in one of the nation's highest-ranked and most diverse public universities.

Maria Kraimer, the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Rutgers SMLR, said “We are proud of the demographic diversity in our student body, who are also taught by a diverse group of faculty. Around 60% of our online master’s students are from underrepresented racial or ethnic groups. The students come from a number of different states across the U.S. and their experience comes from various industries. This diversity enriches the experience of our students, and prepares them to be successful HR leaders in culturally diverse organizations”.

Arabella Ralli, an HR manager who just graduated from the program, explains, “This program went far beyond my expectations! Not only was I offered the best education and professors, but I also had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and understanding of the field. I am better equipped with the tools necessary to further my career in the HR field and for that, I am truly grateful.” Read more about what students are saying about the Rutgers Online MHRM program.

Hadi El-Farr, the Director of the program, attests to the success of the program. He reports “The program is a great success and growing constantly; student retention rate is double the national average, which illustrates the high satisfaction of our students. The results are so motivating, as our students’ success and satisfaction are our major drivers.” The program prepares HR professionals for senior positions, and the average salary of our graduates is more than the national average for HR professionals with a graduate degree in HR.
