Jake is a third-year doctoral student in the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations. His research interests include labor standards compliance and enforcement, collective action, and comparative political economy. Currently, his research focuses on the enactment and enforcement of labor standards at the local level in cities and municipalities across the U.S.

Prior to SMLR Jake was a research specialist at the Worker Institute at Cornell University, studying topics including the New York State arts and entertainment workforce and the growing alliances between unions and worker centers. Jake holds a bachelor's degree from the Cornell ILR School with minors in business and inequality studies.
