Christina Lovejoy is the latest in a long line of SMLR graduates to land a great HR job right out of college.

Lovejoy, who earned a Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) in May 2016 and a Master of Labor and Employment Relations (MLER) in December 2016, is now employed by Anheuser-Busch as part of the company’s highly competitive leadership development HR rotation program.

“I would not trade these last few years for anything,” Lovejoy said of her time at SMLR. “My confidence just by being in this program and by building the network that I have and ultimately getting the job that I have now, there’s no way it would have compared if I hadn’t come here. I’m a different person from when I first came in to where I am now. It shows in everything that I do personally and professionally.”

In addition to her coursework, Lovejoy played an active role in Rutgers University’s graduate chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), a worldwide network of HR professionals and students. In 2016, SHRM named the group its Outstanding Student Chapter for fifth straight year and the sixth time in the last seven years.

She was also a key member of the Rutgers MHRM team that earned a top third placement from a total roster of 22 outstanding HR global graduate teams at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management Case Competition.
