In this talk co-sponsored by the Center for Global Work & Employment and Rutgers Global-China Office, Xueguang Zhou (Stanford University) will present on his forthcoming book, The Logic of Governance in China: An Organizational Approach (Cambridge University Press, 2022). This book summarized his decade-long fieldwork and research on various aspects of governance practice in contemporary China.

The Future Work has gained a lot of traction and talk in the HR community about where is HR headed and how will the future of the workplace look like going forward due to aftermath of the pandemic, War for Talent and Great Resignation. However, one critical component that seems to be lacking surrounding these discussions are actionable items through data and experience that provides concrete analysis to find solutions to addressing where organizations and HR are headed towards leading the initiatives for the future of work.
