SMLRAA HR/LR Axe Throwing Event
Event Recap: The SMLR Alumni Association hosted Axe Throwing at Bury the Hatchet in Woodbridge, NJ on October 19, 2023. We had a nice turnout of 18 alumni & friends of SMLR. We had a fun time networking & axe throwing & many expressed interest in future social events like this! We want to express our sincere appreciation to all those who joined us! The evening was a splendid occasion for professional networking, reuniting with old friends, and forging new connections.
A special round of applause goes to Michael Bartolmei for getting the first bulls-eye and Lina Salah for not only getting the first bulls-eye, but multiple! Congratulations to all those who got bulls-eyes and great shots -- Lina Duarte, Kevin Guallpa, Michael Bartolmei, Ivonne Medrano, Leander Galimba, Gregory Burdea, Paul Joseph, Christopher Ramos, Lina Salah, Brian Mejia, and Steven Ng.

Join the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations Alumni Association (SMLRAA) for a night of food, fun, and axe throwing! Registration is $25 and includes 2 hours of axe throwing, pizza, salad, and water. Come connect with other Rutgers grads who share an affinity for HR and Labor Relations. Safety and training sessions will be provided to first time axe throwers. We hope to see you there!
