Rutgers University’s Center for Innovation in Worker Organization (CIWO) continued to build and strengthen its relationship with the Interstate Labor Standards Association (ILSA), the national association of the state wage and hour enforcement agencies. ILSA invited CIWO and our partner, the Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP), to present two skills training sessions on strategic enforcement at this year’s national conference. CIWO and CLASP used this opportunity to pilot two of the six training modules it developed on strategic enforcement following the Strategic Enforcement Convening in May 2018.

Fidan Kurtulus has received multiple fellowships from our Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing, co-authoring a book with SMLR’s Douglas Kruse along the way.
